I believe positive thinking, produces positive
growth and empowerment. I am the creator of my own destiny...And
If I see something I want, I go after it most definitely.
I've not always wanted to become a model,
growing up in the small town of Linden, Guyana I was labeled a
tomboy, as you could always find me romping around with the older,
rougher boys of my neighbourhood and following in the footsteps
of my older sister, who was in herself a tomboy.
When my parents decided to migrate to St.Kitts
on the cause of a job opportunity, though I migrated with them
and left Linden behind it was never far from my heart and thoughts,
as I have tons of happy memories to constantly keep it a live
for me and family members that still resided there. Even though
I now live outside of Guyana, I still keep up to date with the
current events and all the local happenings, and still consider
Guyana and will always think of it as my home.
One of the best things about Guyana is
that people from different cultures and backgrounds are universally
accepted. No matter what your history, once you arrive in Guyana,
you’re accepted as a “Guyanese.”
My passion is modeling for which I've been
engaged in several interesting modeling experiences such as the
Supermodel of the Caribbean and Caribbean Top Model Competitions.
My goal is to continue my modeling career to become an international
model. I see myself as the next cover girl. This is a dream I’m
working hard for it to become a reality. Though modeling is not
the only thing I do, I’m an artist, a poet and a dancer, can I
sum myself up in three simple words no. I am funny, outgoing,
talkative and free-spirited.
Currently the junior assistant at the
Sun St.Kitts/Nevis newspapers, it has always been my dream to
become a high fashion and interior designer. I see myself as the
CEO of my very own company, with a house hold name like Oprah.
I look to such women from inspiration
and motivation; if they can do it so can I. I live by this motto;
“work like you've never work before...Love like you've never been
hurt and dance like no one's watching.”
