regular day to day basis is much more than a hobby. Her range
of activities covers dancing, poetry, drama, track and field
events, basketball, singing, playing the drums for church, modeling,
debating, gardening, photography and painting. She dances and
choreographs pieces for local music videos. Most of her talents
are enhanced by professional training.
Renee is an artistic and ambitious Afro-Guyanese
who is very proud of her fantastic achievements in poetry, her
first love. She has been awarded the second place winner for
the AGWA prize for literature in 2003, which was published in
the local magazine "Barefoot Lady".
Renee has a simpler side. She is level-headed
and keeps her focus on positive things by planning various events
for her church youth group as its vice-president. She is a teacher
of the Methodist Children Fellowship (M.F.C).
Renee works hard as a young photographer
and many are curious to know how she deals with all the other
commitments. Her response is simple. Her faith in God helps
her through with divine strength and patience. Renee needs strength,
patience and determination to maintain her position as a member
of the Classique Dance Company and the Trinity Doc Youth Group.
Renee plans to study at the United States
University to pursue a degree in the arts in the near feature.
She aims to become a successful business owner for a school
of arts for youths and young adults.
