MISS GUYANA WORLD 2006 This was the first time in Guyana’s pageant history that five international titles were awarded on a single night. Kristia Ramlagan, first runner-up, will represent Guyana at Miss International, while the second-runner-up, Tenesia Harding will go to Miss Tourism Queen. Third runner-up Yulanda Armstrong received a title to represent Guyana at Miss Globe and the fourth runner-up will go to Miss Inter-Continental. The crowning of the five beauty queens marked the sixth year of the Miss Guyana World organisation under London-based businessman Ken Chung, who has had artistic director Derek Moore from the inception.
