THE MAKING OF MISS GUYANA WORLD 2004

CROWNS PEARLS & DANCING GIRLS

INTRODUCTION

The story is about a little girl, whose dream is to some day be crowned Miss Guyana World. She has been seeing pageants of this nature on television for many years and has vowed that on her 21st birthday she will be crowned the new queen.

Several years have passed, during which time she has prepared herself, with the pageant in mind; she acquired a university degree in information technology and is employed as a specialist with an international communication company. The once, little girl, has blossomed into a beautiful, well rounded, young woman, who thinks that she is ready to take up the challenges of the pageant and represent her country as an ambassador at the Miss World International Pageant.

She was encouraged to enter the pageant by her family and colleagues who think that she has all the qualities a beauty queen should possess, beauty, grace, elegance, poise, intelligent, charisma and personality.

The story takes you through the many stages of her personal life and her acceptance into the pageant.

The application and selection process, training and the difficulties, and many challenges and hurdles she must overcome to be crowned Miss Guyana World in 2004.

The show takes you through all the stages of an actual pageant the practice sessions, interviews, orientation, protocols, conflicts dress rehearsals, photo shoot, and media attentions that come with pageantry,

Patrons to the show can expect a very high energy production full of songs drama and dances reflective of the natural scenarios that play out in preparation for a national pageant.

The shows cast is made up of models, past, present and future pageant delegates, and is expected to be a very glamorous and fulfilling production.
