With hundreds of calls  and emails from Guyanese living abroad and asking for an opportunity to enter the miss Guyana/world pageant, the committee went into overdrive to find a solution.

Guess what? They have! This month we officially launch the first  Miss Guyana Internet, open to all Guyanese including those living abroad, whether it be the united Kingdom, United States or another Caribbean country, we welcome your participation, once you can prove your Guyanese lineage.

It is an opportunity for all those beautiful Guyanese women around the
world ,many of whom cannot participate in the miss Guyana/World pageant  because of commitments abroad or even in Guyana.
 
So, those young ladies who are a bit camera shy and others busy studying to make their mark in the world, this competition is for you, too.
 
We have removed the judges, the press-which sometimes can be mean-the face to face vying and grueling practice sessions, and replaced it with public polling. simply put, Miss Guyana Internet will be the people's choice.

We are always thinking of ways to better ourselves and to set trends. this is another way of uniting our beautiful Guyanese  women .they don't have to get on a flight to Guyana, just log onto the internet.
