I
was born on the
21st of October 1982. I’m 5’ 9” tall, thin and stately, fair in complexion
with brown eyes and black hair with brown highlights.
My
mother and father raised me in a village called Zeeburg,
on the West Coast of Demerara,. I also remember my childhood days of climbing
fruit trees, catching fish in the nearby trench, playing hide and seek
with the children from the neighbourhood and
running barefoot in the yard.
I
remember how much I loved my pet cat fluffy and dog gypsy and I cared
for them with much love and tenderness.
My
family is made up of two (2) boys and three (3) girls, with
me being the eldest girl. At age
five I experienced a terrible loss when my father, the breadwinner of
the family, died. It was so very
hard for my mother to keep us going and from that time on, my future depended
on what I aimed for, and so I worked toward the optimum, to achieve that
goal.
