Miss Guyana Jasmine Herzog is up against some stiff competitors in today's Miss World pageant in Sanya, China. Described by the international press as possessing "impressive personality and intelligence" Miss Guyana falls in the Americas region, one of the most competitive in today's beauty pageants. The last time Guyana placed in the Miss World pageant was 1971 when Nalini Moonasar came up 3rd. Good luck Jasmine!
