Miss Guyana World Jasmine Herzog strikes a pose for Chronicle photographer Delano Williams in this sheer swimsuit wrap by designer Derek Moore. The designer robe goes with a one of kind outfit she’ll don in Sanya for the month-long Miss World pageant which culminates on December 10, 2005.

The picture was taken just after Jasmine returned from New York where she took part in a shoot for a video of dancehall superstar Shaggy’s new album titled `Clothesdrop’. Last evening, the traditional Dinner and Dance in London for Miss Guyana World was held and featured Guyanese singer Slingshot and Jamaican Donna Marie, an emerging star of the world of Lover’s Rock, whose dulcet tones have graced the reggae charts on a number of occasions since her debut ten years ago. Miss Guyana leaves London for Sanya in a week’s time.
